Job Description:

  • Build and maintain trusted, positive relationships with customers
  • Monitor market trends and the competitive landscape
  • Utilize proficient knowledge of product offerings to expand product placement and improve customer profitability
  • Negotiate pricing and business agreements
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with business partners
  • Prepare business proposals and sales presentations
  • Collaborate with other CHS teams to leverage business relationships
  • Maintain and promote a strong safety culture

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 4+ years of experience in Sales, Business Development, and/or Sales Business Operations
  • 50% travel
  • Strong understanding of crop protection, agricultural supply chains, and market dynamics
  • Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Communications, Marketing, or related field
  • Outside sales experience
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite: Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record
