Data Analyst

Gallup is a renowned analytics and advice company, and they are seeking a Data Analyst to transform raw survey data into trusted insights. In this role, you will ensure the quality and usability of data, cleaning and preparing complex datasets for analysis to support high-stakes decisions for clients around the world. Responsibilities Clean, merge and transform raw survey datasets from Gallup data collection methods, vendor sources and client-provided files Apply data governance standards by removing or managing personally identifiable information and safeguarding sensitive data Execute data plans by recoding, restructuring and validating data for internal researchers and practice teams Perform independent data quality checks and proofs to ensure datasets are accurate, complete and ready for analysis Create datasets, tabs and index pilots based on project needs Support internal and external databases through ongoing data cleaning and quality control Partner with researchers, methodologists and internal stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and readiness Skills Bachelor's degree required, preferably in data analytics, data science or business intelligence; will consider May 2026 graduates Experience using R and Python required; SPSS preferred; proficiency in additional statistical and programming languages a plus Strong statistical knowledge required Demonstrated ability to clean and transform large datasets required Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts and the current AI landscape required A commitment to working on-site at Gallup's Omaha office at least three days per week required Must currently reside within a 250-mile radius of Omaha, Nebraska Eligibility to work in the United States required; this position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship SPSS preferred; proficiency in additional statistical and programming languages a plus Benefits Medical, dental, vision, life and other insurance options A fully vested 401(k) retirement savings plan with company matching An employee stock ownership program Family-building benefits An employee assistance program Various reimbursements and activities that enhance our associates’ wellbeing An on-site cafeteria Fitness center Federal credit union State-of-the-art child development center Company Overview Gallup.com provides data-driven news based on the U.S. and world polls, daily tracking, and public opinion research.
